We know this is a long document. But if you read nothing else, read this page. Here’s a one-pager checklist to make your OpenHack 2025 experience the best it can be.

Before the event

Make sure you are part of the Whatsapp group and follow @openhackro.
Pack your valid ID and registration confirmation email
Don’t forget your medication (if you have a medical condition), laptop, charger, headphones, and power bank
Think ahead: the theme will be announced 48h before so you can brainstorm ideas. No coding allowed until the start of the hackathon.

During the event

Check-in: Nov 8, 10:00–15:00 at the UPB Central Library entrance (bring ID + confirmation email)
Doors open at 10:00 AM → find your table & set up; Opening Ceremony starts at 12:00 PM
You’ll receive your badge and wristband, required for entry at all times
Food, snacks, and coffee are free during the whole event
Key moments: Pizza Night (Nov 8 evening), Sunrise Ritual (Nov 9 morning), Final Judging & Awards (Nov 9 afternoon)
